Policies

• Minimum age of 21 to rent.

• All operators must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license, or 16-17 years of age with boater education course completion from BoatUS. 

• All operators must provide driver's license at check in for validation.

• Minimum 7 years of age to ride as a passenger.

• Limit of 450 pounds and 3 riders per jet ski.

• Only Adventure Jays Jet Ski towable equipment is permitted for use with Adventure Jays Jet Skis. 

• The 450 pounds and 3 rider limitation per jet ski includes towable equipment.

• All operators or passengers are required to sign Adventure Jays Limited Liability Waiver.

  • Under 18 require parent or guardian signature.​

• A major credit card is required to book. We cannot accept a debit card, as we will need to pre-authorize for a $600 damage deposit. This pre-authorization will be cancelled after the personal watercraft is returned undamaged. ​

  • In the event of damages, the cost of the damages will be discussed with the responsible renter. ​

• All operators and passengers must complete, understand, and sign the rental agreement and limited liability waiver. ​​​

• Multi-day renters must have proper mooring for the personal watercraft. Adventure Jays staff will deliver the personal watercraft, inspect the dock and ensure the customer understands how to secure the ski overnight to avoid damage. Adventure Jays will arrange a time for the customer to return the personal watercraft to us at a the nearest boat ramp. 

• Cancellation Policy: Changes to reservation times or dates must be made 14 days prior to scheduled rental date. The customer must contact Adventure Jays staff by phone or email at 864.557.5066 or booking@adventurejays.com. 

  • Cancellations made 7-14 days before the rental date will receive a 50% refund. Adventure Jays will fully refund the amount if the personal watercraft are rented out during your scheduled rental time. ​

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the rental date will not be refunded unless the personal watercraft you booked are rented out during your scheduled rental time. 

  • In the case of unsafe weather conditions, Adventure Jays staff will either award credits toward a future rental or refund a pro-rated portion of the rental. 

  • Rescheduling due to inclement weather is subject to equipment availability. Adventure Jays will do our best to accommodate you!
